Lightbloom AI. Operators who build.

We ran the operating side of private equity portfolio companies for a decade, making them work better with software. Now we build AI into companies the same way: understand how the work really happens, then build it with the team.

## How we got here

We ran engineering, customer support, operations and finance inside private equity portfolio companies, and the software products behind them. The hard part was never the software. It was that no one person could see the work at the depth a build needs, because that knowledge lives with the people doing it and never reaches a system. So we built Transcript (https://lightbloom.ai/transcript), an AI that hears everyone, and we build from what it finds.

AI can only help a company it understands. The understanding lives with the people who do the work, and it only comes out when what they say stays private.

## What we are building

A company that can be known as well as it is run. One picture of how the work actually happens, built from the people who do it, kept current as the work changes, and solid enough to build software on.

Getting that right is the research we have been doing since we were running those companies ourselves. Transcript is how it reaches companies of 50 to 500 people, and our engineers are how it turns into working software.
